Sandra Fields Named Director of Sales and Marketing for Renaissance of Annandale, a Premier Memory Care Community
ANNANDALE, Va. (Dec. 17, 2018) – Sandra Fields has been named director of sales and marketing of Renaissance of Annandale, a premier memory care community that is scheduled to open in Fairfax County early 2019.
Fields will help launch the new facility, which will offer quality care, hope and peace of mind to 47 Northern Virginia seniors and loved ones who are facing dementia and other memory loss illnesses.
Fields, who previously helped to open three innovative senior living communities in Herndon, Va., and Bethesda, Md., brings 15 years of professional senior living experience to Renaissance of Annandale. In that time, she served in various leadership roles, including senior living counsellor, business development manager and marketing director.
She organized the Western Fairfax Advocates for Seniors Network, an association created to help senior living professionals in northern Virginia. Additionally, she has served a number of community organizations for 20 years as a volunteer, including the American Cancer Society, American Lung Association and the Alzheimer’s Association.
“I’m so grateful to have someone like Sandra Fields on the Renaissance of Annandale team. Her wealth of senior living expertise, her compassionate heart, and her inherent ability to communicate and empathize with families, care managers and social workers are the perfect fit for our Renaissance of Annandale community,” Pam Phillips, executive director of Renaissance of Annandale, said.
“I do what I do because I feel it’s important to invest in people, especially our seniors. I want them to know we care, that we are listening and that there is hope even in the middle of a great challenge,” Fields said.
Fields grew up in a military family in California, but travelled to many countries with her father, who served as an officer in the U.S. Army Special Forces. Those experiences gave her an appreciation and respect for people of all cultures, she said. Fields earned a bachelor’s degree in history education at Jackson State University.
Fields lives in Renton, Va., where she enjoys making “over-the-top baskets,” gardening and good dinners with family and friends. More than anything, she believes in the power of God and His mercy, she said.
Situated at 7112 Braddock Road, Renaissance of Annandale is scheduled to open in the winter of 2019. The new state-of-the-art memory care facility, which serves the Fairfax County area, offers 47 deluxe apartments and will be known for its experienced caregivers, lively atmosphere and exceptional service.
The northern Virginia memory care facility is the result of years of planning and development with notable experts and researchers in the field of memory loss. The result is a place where residents will feel at home in a friendly, caring, spacious and well-appointed community.
Renaissance of Annandale will offer a library, an attractive activities room and a casually elegant dining hall. The community’s beautiful grounds include a garden for outdoor enjoyment. We offer exercise classes, Bible study groups and staff-led outings. More information is available at renaissanceannandale.net or by calling (703) 256-2525.
