Aaron Gray Named Life Enrichment Director of Renaissance of Annandale

ANNANDALE, Va. (Feb. 13, 2019) – Aaron Gray has been named Life Enrichment Director of Renaissance of Annandale, a premier memory care community serving Fairfax County scheduled to open in early 2019.

In his new role, Gray will ensure residents enjoy the best quality of life through daily activities and receive spiritual, physical and emotional support.

Gray brings nearly 20 years of adult activities experience to the position, including more than 10 years as an activities director at a number of senior living facilities in Alabama. Through his consulting business, he helped long-term healthcare facilities meet activity and facility management regulations. Gray’s experience also includes a couple of years in retail furniture sales, both as a manager and an owner/operator.

“One thing I always look forward to is getting to meet the residents and their families and becoming a part of their extended family and their lives. This isn’t just a job for me. It is my passion and my calling to take each opportunity given to make someone’s life a little better,” Gray said.

“Aaron has such an engaging personality, kind eyes and a tone to his voice that is calm and serene. He has an enhanced background for leading this department, and he is gifted with a beautiful singing voice. His desire is to give our residents a day they will embrace that is connected to their past hobbies, occupations and what they treasure,” said Pamela Phillips, Executive Director of Renaissance of Annandale.

For the last 24 years, Gray has served at various churches in several ministries, including youth pastor, music minister and interim pastor. He attended Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn., where he undertook biblical, theological, psychological and sociological studies.

Gray resides in Lakeridge, Va. with his wife, Kim. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the piano and singing.

One thing I always look forward to is getting to meet the residents and their families and becoming a part of their extended family and their lives. Aaron Gray
